DoctorConverter (doctorconverter.com) is built to process your documents and then forget them. This policy explains what happens to your files and data.
1. Temporary storage only
- Automatic expiry: Uploaded files and results are kept for a limited retention period (60 minutes by default) and are then deleted automatically.
- Delete any time: The “Delete files” button closes access immediately; physical deletion follows in the background after a short grace period.
- No content review: We do not read your documents, share them or use them to train AI models.
2. What we collect
- No account data: No sign-up, so we never ask for your name, email or phone number.
- Session cookie: A signed, anonymous session cookie links your uploads to your browser so nobody else can access them. It expires after 24 hours.
- Technical data: Standard request logs and a keyed hash of your network address are used for rate limiting and abuse prevention. File names and contents are not stored in metadata or logs.
- Visit statistics: We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and builds no personal profiles, to count page views and measure speed. File contents and names are never part of it.
- Language preference: If you switch language, your choice is stored in your browser’s local storage.
3. Transfer security
All traffic between your browser and our servers is encrypted with HTTPS (TLS).
4. Third parties
We do not sell or share your files or metadata with advertisers or data brokers. Hosting and network providers process traffic only to deliver the service.
